Delhi University New Rule for Admission to UG Programmes
The Executive Council of Delhi University approved the new admission rules for UG courses
i) based on the CUET scores.
This year not follow the cut off mark system admissions will be done through a Common Seat Allocation System that will be held in three phases.
What is Common Seat Allocation System(CSAS) ?
i) By Using CUET Score
ii) Conducted in 3 Phase
Phase #1
👉 Log in to a Centrlised CSAS Portal for admission to all UG Programmes of all Colleges of DU
Application Fee
The Candiateswill have to pay one - time non - refundable application fee and fill out the form
Phase #2
👉 Applicants will have to choose the course they want to pursue, if allocated, as well as the college in which they prefer to get admitted.
Mutiple Preferance can Choose
An applicant can fill multiple programmes and college combinations in order of preference, provided he/she fulfils the programme-specificle eigibility.

Phase #3
The students will be alloted based on their CUET Score and preference
Once a seat has been allocated in a par- ticular round, the candidate will have to "accept" the seat offered before the last date/ time specified for the given
Seat valid for one round
If the candidate not taken admission then he/she not able to participate in other rounds of CASA 2022
Students can Freeze and Upgrade
The admitted students have a chance to Freeze and Upgrade their preferences. If the candidate wants to continue their alloted preferences then he/she submit Freeze requests in the dashboard and those wants to UPGRADE their preferences to Higher then select Upgrade
The university is yet to announce the launch of the CSAS portal or a timeline for the admission process. Due to delays in the conduct of the CUET and rescheduling of examinations, the admission process is likely to be delay
New rules under CUET scores in case of Tie
In the event of a tie, where two or more candidates have the same CUET (UG)-2022 merit score for a programme +college combination, the following rules will be applied in descending order:
👉 Aggregate marks Best 3 Subject of Class XII given preference
👉 Aggregate marks of best 4 subjects of Class XII will be given preference
👉 Aggregate marks of best 5 subjects of Class XII will be given preference
Age of the candidate: Earlier Date of Birth will be given Preference (Class X Certificate)
